Routing of cars from Mojave yard

Post by Swiss3400 »

Hi all

I have a question about the routing of cars out of Mojave, especially the ones tagged for Barstow. Is there a service running from Mojave to Barstow along the BNSF Mojave Sub or do these cars go to WC first and via Cajon Sub to Barstow?

Thanks

Prototypically BNSF does not serve Mojave, so in theory all BAR cars in Mojave go to West Colton via the Palmdale cutoff and get sorted and sent to Barstow on the H-WCLBAR over Cajon. If there happens to be a big enough cut a Barstow bound train could pick them up. But I've never heard of this happening.

Thanks Robert, altough it is a simulator I'd like to handle the traffic close as it is handled in reality, so I will sent them to WC :-)
