- Oops: El Programmerdero left a line of test-code by accident which caused the brake pipe to do weird things
especially towards the ass-end of the train. One wonders what he was working on... - Bakersfield Sub:
- Added a mini-block into Calwa Yard at CP Calwa
- Added a mini-block into the Calwa E Yard Lead
- Added a mini-block into the Industry lead at CP Calwa
- Barstow-Yermo:
- Fixed a signal tag that was forcing Otto to send all eastbound UP trains onto Main 1 at East Barstow
instead of allowing them to use all 3 mains to Daggett. The trade-off though is Otto won't be able to
diverge eastbound UP trains at West Daggett anymore, however, we're giving up one path and gaining
three so hey, it's the lesser of two evils
- Fixed a signal tag that was forcing Otto to send all eastbound UP trains onto Main 1 at East Barstow
- Selkirk Terminal
- Re-blocked Receiving Track 6 to fix a signaling issue at either end into the yard
- A-Line
- Tagged the signals around Grand Jct\Moncrief to prevent a head-to-head Otto situation SB at Pax Station
- Roseville Sub:
- Adjusted some signal tags to prevent Otto from causing head-on situations at the center sidings
- Network MTU:The maximum transmission unit for Run8's network code was changed from 1408 bytes
down to 1200 bytes. We had reports of some ISPs having their MTU around 1300, which was causing some
Run8 network messages to get rejected by that ISP, mainly the train-spawn messages for larger trains. The
vast majority of Run8's network messages are well under MTU size - Clients must now enter a valid User Name before joining a session, thus preventing joining up with the
default name of "None". This can be done in the Train Menu at the bottom of the player's avatar screen - Fixed an error with Custom Input Device's Auto-AB function (its action didn't match the action of the regular
menu's AutoAB button) - Control Output Data: Index 8 (throttle notch) now sends the dynamic brake position (0 thru 8) if in dynamic
braking mode, otherwise it sends throttle notch as usual - Airbrakes: Corrected a minor glitch when coupling onto a cut of cars that had previously been in Emergency
and opening the anglecock, where for a brief perioud of time would cause the locomotive air to piss away
unnecessarily instead of charging the brake pipe - Otto, You're Killing Me: Fixed a glitch that was allowing Otto to route\throw unlocked CTC switches (you
know, the blue ones). He was NOT supposed to be able to do that, but El Programmerdero inadvertantly
removed Otto's restriction when asked to make them throwable from the DS screen for convenience a few
