Hello
inspired by my lack of geographic knowledge of USA and meaning of all these train symbols I gathered some information, that I want so share with people
experiencing the same
First I found a collection of US railroad maps, one for each operator. Sadly the card window is a little bit slow and the map zooming and scrolling is not very fast, but this maps gave me an idea where to route trains during my attempts to be dispatcher. It also helped me to orientate in the US.
There is also an overwiew of common trains found on the server available here in the forum, but some I did not find there.

BNSF Train Symbols, I think a somewhat comprehensive collection:

UP Train Symbols:

Hope this helps someone, as I gather more information I will add it here.
Cheers
Thorsten
